CHC operates across two continents — united by one mission.
Kanye is a semi-urban town of approximately 48,000 residents in the Southern District of Botswana, 83 kilometres southwest of the capital, Gaborone. It is the administrative centre of the Ngwaketse District and the traditional capital of the Ngwaketse people.
Despite Botswana's national economic growth, communities in the Southern District — including Kanye — experience some of the country's highest rates of poverty, youth unemployment (46%), limited access to specialist health services, and inadequate educational infrastructure for young children and adults with disabilities. CHC exists to bridge these gaps.
Your support empowers communities across two continents. Every dollar goes directly to program delivery in Kanye, Botswana.
