Matlhatso Kesupile-Reed
Founder & CEO
As a Chief Executive Officer, Reed is responsible for public relations, managing the organization and promoting various fundraising activities that contribute to the organization's growth. Prior to joining the CHC, Reed worked for 30 years in the health field as a nurse. She has also worked in the Center of Disease Control in Gaborone, Botswana under the American Embassy. Reed has done work for BOTUSA for a (TB) Research Project on TB, HIV and AIDS. She is also trained as a behavioral health specialist and does motivational counseling. Reed volunteers in the NGO House of Roses located in Philadelphia for young ladies transitioning from foster to independent living.
Idah Kooepile
Chairperson
As chairperson, Kooepile leads in governance and oversight by motivating other members to actively participate in and attend meetings. Kooepile ensures that actions taken are in line with the organization's bylaws, goals, and mission. Kooepile also serves as a primary point of contact for the organization's executives and staff members, leads in fundraising efforts, approves the annual budget and audits reports and materials for business decisions. Kooepile has 38years work experience as a Business Administrator and Leader, Workforce Development Expert and Principle of Botswana’s Brigades Centers. Management administration,office management ,coordinator for bridgates ,Business manager, accountant.
Tiny Jerrett
Treasurer
Jerrett oversees the financial affairs of the company and ensures that the organization adheres to all legal accounting practices. She maintains and improves the company's financial standing by guiding financial policies, assessing risks, determining funding opportunities and advising on investment opportunities. Jerrett has 28 years of work experience—5 of which were in nursing and 23 years of being self employed as a restaurant business entrepreneur. Jerrett is director and owner of KoGae liquor restaurant, established in 1990. KoGae is a unique traditional setting that specializes in traditional Botswana food and crafts.
Mooketsa Busboy Kesupile
Manager
As a manager of CHC, Kesupile is the one who interacts with government officials and other policy bodies that can influence the whole organization. He also assists the treasurer by handling the funds that come from large and small businesses, as well as other organizations. As manager, Kesupile recruits volunteers, hires job applicants for any vacancies, forms partnerships with other companies and writes reports to their board officers. Kesupile is a former headmaster and school administrative leader. Worked in Rural Industries Innovation projects improving rural village standard of living . Kesupile’s personal interests include farming, volunteering and sports.
Theadora Fembo
Secretary
As secretary, Fembo is responsible for ensuring that accurate minutes of meetings are taken and approved. Her role also consists of disseminating information to all members and stakeholders, giving proper notice of any meetings and timely distribution of materials such as agendas and meeting minutes. Fembo has over 20 years of experience as a qualified Registered Nurse Midwife and Operating Theatre Nurse. Worked as Nursing lecturer teaching students nurses. Coordinator of HIV & AIDs prevention, Organizer of Health Management team
Goitseone Thedila Mpotokwane
Marketing Coordinator
Mpotokwane coordinates all the marketing activities and initiatives of the organization. She conducts market research, carries out promotional campaigns, identifies target audiences and evaluates current trends. Mpotokwane Has 37 years working as an organizational administrator , and secondary school teacher. She has extensive knowledge of working with NGOs such as YWCA and BOFWA, in leadership roles , holding workshops ,working as a guidance and counseling coordinator for teenagers and youth.
Thato Kesupile-Reed
Volunteer of Fundraising Management
As a fundraising manager, Kesupile-Reed supervises and coordinates all operations within the organization that generates money. She also works closely with the internal team (board of trustees and volunteers) as well as external clients, donors and various members of the community. Kesupile-Reed has 20 years of experience as an artist, entrepreneur and community activist. Is a counselor and motivator for youth .Coordinates and manages youth activities ,elderly and children .Teaches art and poetry and acting
Julia Dineo Kalaymotho
Volunteer
Julia supervises other volunteers and upholds the organization's mission, vision and values. She also ensures that volunteers maintain a high degree of professionalism with all stakeholders. Kalayamotho has experience as a sales person, is a community volunteer
Kirk Lorick
Secretary
Lorick serves as the secretary for our Board in the USA. Kirk has over 30 years of strategic and practical experience working directly with offenders and mental health patients, as well as serving as a mediator.
Samuel Reed, III
Treasurer
Samuel Reed, III serves as treasurer for our Board in the USA. Samuel is an accomplished Teacherpreneur and Consultant with more than 25 years of success across the education and workforce development industries. He is a valuable advisor for organizations seeking growth and development.
